Gold, Platinum, Nishikigoi (koi) that can be enjoyed even in a shining tank.
As the name suggests, the gold is all over the koi.

It is a beautiful and divine breed that has no pattern unique to Nishikigoi but shines golden all over.
It is often paired with a breed called “Platinum” and is often seen in ponds and tanks.
It is wrapped in gold, so it is still called gold, but when viewed from a distance, it instantly looks as amazing and brilliant as a gold nugget.
Platinum Nishikigoi shines like a sparkling white silver.

Platinum is a variety of shiny Nishikigoi that is called platinum gold and has a platinum color.
There is no pattern and the whole body glows in platinum.
It is a white ground that can be said to be both white and silvery.
If you have one in a dark pond or aquarium, it enhances the contrast of the whole kagayaki Nishikigoi and brings out the whole.
They also shine very well and stand out when in a bright pond or aquarium.
What about high quality gold or platinum?
It is a rare breed that does not have any pattern as a Nishikigoi, but the high quality gold and platinum are very brilliant.
The intensity of the gold or platinum’s brilliance and the color of the gold or platinum will be the criteria for evaluation.
fAlso, it is said that gold and platinum are good for Nishikigoi because their uroko (scales) stand out even though they are plain.
Gold is an easy breed for beginners to keep in an aquarium.
Kogane is highly recommended for those who keep Nishikigoi in an aquarium for the first time.
The Gosanke, such as red and white, is beautiful from the top, but I think the gold is best enjoyed when you see it from the side (although there are some Gosanke that are beautiful from the side in a tank).
Even if you light up the tank only in a bright or dark room, you can feel the godly glow of the golden Nishikigoi.
Here’s another reason why I recommend it for beginners who are new to Nishikigoi in an aquarium.
It is easy and relatively inexpensive to buy at home improvement stores and other aurium dealers.
Kogane is a popular variety that is produced in large quantities and widely distributed in Japan and around the world.
For this reason, there are many gold koi that are sold at relatively low prices, and I recommend them to those who are new to Nishikigoi.
A good combination would be to keep them with a white silver Nishikigoi called platinum.
